Our engineering team consists of optical, mechanical, and quality assurance engineers with expertise in a wide range of imaging applications and technologies. Our speciality rests in the design of complex, high-resolution, diffraction limited, innovative optical assemblies. Furthermore, our engineers have accrued extensive experience in imaging optics design, optical alignment methodologies & equipment operation, and opto-mechanical tolerance analysis.

Using state-of-the-art optical/ mechanical design software, we ensure that your lens systems are both technically feasible and mechanically manufacturable. By integrating both optical and mechanical designs, we ensure the solution built meets all of your mechanical and performance specifications. Our metrological capabilities help ensure that the lens performance meet your designed specs both during manufacturing and after final assembly.

Hyperion Optics has a broad range of lens system solutions (from VIS to IR) available, we also welcome custom design and prototyping requests. Our specialty in projection lens, microscope objective lens, SWIR lens, diffraction limited objective lens, and fisheye lens mean that we may have ready-made lens systems that can fit your application needs. Most importantly, we are fully equipped with Zygo® interferometer and Trioptics® MTF testing station; full inspection reports will ensure the products we delivered are true to specifications.
